Our dresses take on average 5-6 months to arrive, though we always recommend you start shopping for your dress 8 months before your wedding to allow time for alterations. This shipping time is an average estimate and may vary based on time of year and other factors that may make the shipping time longer.

Designers we currently carry typically release new styles once a year. We are also constantly looking to make new designers available to our brides, so make sure to subscribe to our newsletter at the bottom of the page and follow us on social media to be the first to get your hands on a new style! 

Yes! Your dress will be ordered to fit the largest part of your measurement, which means it will need to be taken in at other areas of your body and hemmed as needed. This is very normal and the same way all wedding dresses are made (unless it's a custom to you gown). Any tailor in your area who specializes in wedding gowns will know how best to tailor your dress so it fits perfectly for your wedding day!

Almost all of our dresses can be custom made in color or black. Book an Online Video Fitting and talk to a Bridal Consultant to find out how.

We do not carry Bridesmaid dress at this time but this is something we would like to add for our customers in the future.

We have one location that carries a small selection of our current stock gowns as well as all the pre-loved consignment gowns.The address is 286 Central Ave Suite 3 in London, On Canada. Sizing

In each dress you will see a diagram of how to measure yourself properly. Bridal sizing is generally two sizes smaller than your regular dress size and that is why taking proper measurements is very important. 
To take your measurements you will need your bust size, natural waist size, and hips. You measure your bust at the fullest part of the breast straight across the back. Waist is taken usually about 1-2 inches above the belly button. Hips are measured around the fullest part of the buttocks and hip. These three measurements will tell you which size to order. Again you are welcome to set up a FREE video chat appointment with one of our bridal consultants to help you make sure you are doing your measurements properly to order the right size dress for you.

We offer bridal sizing US 0 - US 28 at no additional charge for sizing. If you require a wedding gown that is a bridal size larger than US 28 we are happy to help you take your measurements and order a dress custom to you at no additional custom size charge.

Shipping costs can range based on number of items purchased, standard and expedited shipping chosen. We suggest finding out how much your package will cost once you have added everything to your cart. 

Yes, due to the dresses being a luxury item you will be charged import duty at the door when your dress arrives. 

Returns

We would love to be able to offer an exchange program, however all of our dresses are made to order. So when you order a dress it is made specifically for you and as such can not be exchanged for another dress.

Yes! We are happy to receive dresses back to us that you were not happy with. We know that buying a dress online will show you the design of the dress but occasionally when you put it on you just don't feel a connection with the dress. That is totally fine. Contact us right away to let us know you wish to return the dress and you will be sent our return address and instructions.

You will be responsible for the cost to return the dress to us, so please keep that in mind when making your decision. Please note dresses returned must be in exact condition as received. No marks, smells, rips, animal hair, deodorant, etc. on the dress or the dress will be sent back to you at your cost and a return will not be processed.

Q: How often and when are new styles release?
A: New styles come out twice a year. Make sure to check our social media to see new styles that have been release. 

Q: How much is shipping?

Q: Do you carry Bridesmaid dresses?
A: Yes! We do carry bridesmaids dresses with sample sizes from size 8-30. We carry Jenny Yoo. Bridesmaid Dresses range in price from $430-500 depending on design and fabric. As with our wedding gowns we do not charge any size premiums on our bridesmaid dresses for our curvy and plus size bridesmaids. 
Dresses can be order from size 00-32, at this time bridesmaid dresses are in store only for try on and ordering.

Q: Do you offer plus sizing?
A: We offer bridal sizing US 0 - US 32 at no additional charge for sizing. In store samples range from 8-26.

Q: Why is there an appointment fee?
A:We have been so excited at our bridal shop by the amount of brides we have helped to find their dream wedding dress since opening our London, Ontario location in June 2022. The connections we have made and being apart of so many life moments has just been overwhelming.

As our bridal store in London grows and changes, and as the industry changes, we want to make sure we are able to continue to provide brides with that 1on1, unique and luxury wedding dress shopping experience. Weekend appointments will now have a $50, non-refundable, Appointment Reservation Fee at time of booking the appointment in order to secure your spot. The Appointment Reservation Fee is an investment that will be applied to the wedding dress or bridesmaid dress you fall in love with as a credit towards the total cost. All weekday appointments will remain open for booking without the Appointment Reservation Fee with the same level of service and experience. We are so excited to continue to bring you the bridal experiences you have heard so much about and come to expect at Bergamot Bridal.

Q: How long will it take for my dress or accessories to come in?
A: Our dresses take on average 4-5 months to arrive, though we always recommend you start shopping for your dress 8-10 months before your wedding to allow time for alterations. Accessories are made by hand and made to order, they take 4-6 weeks to arrive to our boutique to undergo quality assurance and then shipped to you within 48 hours. 

Q: Will I still need to tailor my dress?
A: Yes! Your dress will be ordered to fit the largest part of your measurement, which means it will need to be taken in at other areas of your body and hemmed as needed. This is very normal and the same way all wedding dresses are made (unless it's a custom to you gown). Any tailor in your area who specializes in wedding gowns will know how best to tailor your dress so it fits perfectly for your wedding day!
